I’m often asked what I eat and how I lost 20 pounds.
In this post I’m going to briefly cover what I did to get my health back under control.
This is what worked for me and it may or may not work for you. So do your own research and make your own decisions about what you should do.
This is what I did…
Step 1. I downloaded the CarbManager app and checked all my food against it. My goal was to eat less than 20 grams of carbs, around 144 grams of fat and 99 grams of protein per day. I saw results in the first week and by week two was down 10 pounds.
Step 2. Once a week, on Sunday night I would start a fast that lasted about 16 hours.
Step 3. I weighed myself every morning with a scale that sent my body composition to an app on my phone. That way I could make changes in my diet immediately.
I ate a very small amount of sugar. A negligible amount.
I like simple foods that I can prepare and eat often. I love bacon, eggs, avocados and veggies so that’s what I mostly ate.
