Expand your mind…

The day you expand your mind is the day you wake up to the possibilities of doing big things with your life.
This was one of my mind expanding days.

Looking out into the vast ocean I knew there was no limit to the things I could accomplish.

These questions must be answered and will become our written manifesto…

-Who will I be today?

-What dreams will I chase?

-What will I create and accomplish no matter what?

-Who will I give value, love, or appreciation to?

-What will I do or experience that will help me feel fulfilled and grateful when I rest my head to pillow later tonight?

Consider taking some time to work though these questions.

Success Habits…

Small daily actions that become habits will cause a great amount of happiness in our lives. This list is a boiled down list of the habits I’ve found to be the most effective in my life.

Simple actions but not always easy to do.

1. Wake up early.
2. Exercise Daily.
3. Spend time thinking daily.
4. Prepare a To-do list.
5. Meet New People.
6. Reading.
7. Wear Simple Clothes.
8. Record and Control expenses.

My 3 Step Keto journey…

I’m often asked what I eat and how I lost 20 pounds.

In this post I’m going to briefly cover what I did to get my health back under control.

This is what worked for me and it may or may not work for you. So do your own research and make your own decisions about what you should do.

This is what I did…

Step 1. I downloaded the CarbManager app and checked all my food against it. My goal was to eat less than 20 grams of carbs, around 144 grams of fat and 99 grams of protein per day. I saw results in the first week and by week two was down 10 pounds.

Step 2. Once a week, on Sunday night I would start a fast that lasted about 16 hours.

Step 3. I weighed myself every morning with a scale that sent my body composition to an app on my phone. That way I could make changes in my diet immediately.

I ate a very small amount of sugar. A negligible amount.

I like simple foods that I can prepare and eat often. I love bacon, eggs, avocados and veggies so that’s what I mostly ate.

A picture is worth a thousand words so here is a photo journal of my meals.

Lots of eggs, bacon, cheese, avocados, salads, chicken, some fish and to drink water and coffee. Google Bullet Proof coffee for the ingredients.

Ask yourself…

Nobody is too busy, it’s just a matter of priorities.

Throw out your trash. Fake friends, Grudges, Bad habits, Doubts, Anything toxic.

If you are reading this, I dare you to dedicate the next 6 months exclusively to your goals. No announcements, just fall back and do the work.

Make a list of all people in your life.

Quickly assign them 1-2-3-4:

1) Supports you.
2) Against you.
3) Wants you to do less.
4) Nothing above fits.

Grow 1 & quit trying to make sense of 2-4.

I got this idea from reading the 10X Rule by Grant Cardone. I highly recommend you read it and take your own notes.

Write your life story…

Looking back through my journal this morning and thinking about the people in my life and the things we’ve accomplished.

As you live life be sure to write it down and make a record of it.

Writing the story of your life is the most important book you can leave for your children.
